I've had a play with re-creating The Introspector from Deathloop this  morning. It'll be nice to see if I can do this for real, with Substance  materials and those creepy eye blink animations. This was just a layout,  but it taught me valuable lessons that I'll implement should I make a  more elaborate version of this set.

I've started by modelling the TV screen and experimented with a  holding frame of sorts, before abandoning the idea and leaving them  unrealistically magic-attached to the arches. The arch was made from a  solidified circle, to which I've parented multiple copies of the TV  screen. I imagined a smallish room for the exhibition, which needed to  be much larger that I had anticipated (10x20m in this layout).

I've  duplicated the arch several times until I came up with 7 copies along a  corridor of sorts, and one off to the side. I had a 1.8m cylinder in the  scene for scale while I was modelling, and then replaced it with a  Genesis 9 Toon figure with pose. The hair and trousers needed a tad of  adjusting for which I've used ZBrush. I'd like to add cables and other  wall details, some brick work and animated textures next - but we'll see  if that ever happens, you know what it's like.

I'm excited that a game like Deathloop can bring inspiration to my creative juices.

I am assuming (yes, I know what they say about assuming.. 😉) that - once I learn what I'm doing in Blender - I could take a body / head .obj from my Poser runtimes, reshape it, put it back under a different name, and... Oh, wait... I'd have to re-rig all the facial parts... Gah.... I'm trying to do likenesses, and it's a lot harder than one would think. I've nailed a couple from photos, but most of the time I'm ready to throw my mouse out the window after spending HOURS trying to at least come close. And failing miserably...

That should work, you'd import the changes back as a morph target. It'll leave the materials and rigging in place and create a dial that lets you shape the figure without breaking anything else. In Daz Studio we use Morph Loader Pro for it, I'm sure Poser has a similar mechanism.
