I've just realised how behind I am with posting these videos on YouTube, simply because I'm currently not in the mood to make thumbnails 😁 I usually spend way too much time on those, trying to convey what's being said in a video in a single image. That's a tough job sometimes, especially if the subject matter is grey sliders and drop down menus! I'm sure I'll get inspired eventually. Until then, you're the only ones to see these recent releases.

Anyway, in this episode I'll explain how to show keyframes for properties and morph dials in the advanced timeline in DAZ Studio. Those are hidden by default, and it's been driving me mental for years. I'll talk about the Types menu and show you how to animate three types of objects.

This one might be a bit rambly and doesn't get to the point as quickly as I think it could. Let me know what you think, it may end up on the cutting room floor.

Enjoy!

Showing keyframes for Parameters, Properties and Morph Dials in DAZ Studio

OK, I finally watched this. Great video. iClone has something similar in that not all the categories are shown by default in an effort to keep things tidy. These 3D applications are just so tricksy.

It's great to know DAZ animation may not be that horrible. :D One day I may have to sit down and try working on a simple animation just to get my feet wet so to speak. I just wish video card prices would return to normal so I could seriously consider getting my 2nd system ready to render then I wouldn't fear trying to render a 1080p or 4K animation.
