A curious thing is that in the version you are watching they updated the opening, for example at minute 3:44, in the version from when the anime was first broadcast, for the third season the opening still only showed Iroha, Yachiyo and Kuroe in that part, but in the blu-ray version they included Tsuruno, Felicia and Sana. Then in the train scene at minute 3:49 they also updated it for this chapter and all the girls introduced in this anime appear, that is a nice detail because the original version still had only Iroha, Yachiyo and Kuroe. About the episode, I think that Nemu has not really been using Touka as if everything was a plan of hers and she was manipulating everything that happens, except when she sent Kuroe to find Iroha. Touka's new motivation gave her hope to continue and the only thing she did was hide the truth from her in case Touka gave up on the plan. Touka eventually agrees that she did the right thing in not telling her anything, the plan was made by both of them and now they work on equal terms to carry it out. Something interesting that I know about the game is that in that version of the story both Nemu and Touka lost their memories of Ui, not just Touka, although I don't know beyond that and all the changes that would involve. I also felt sorry for Kuroe, I also came to like her character a lot, she is actually a character that was originally created for the anime, and was introduced to the game much later but I think she doesn't die in that version since the Magius storyline had already been told in the game a long time before, but I think her story is explored more before she met Iroha and when she joined the Wings of Magius. Although it may sound bad, meeting Iroha and seeing what a good person Iroha is, made Kuroe feel worse about the way she is and the hope that Iroha tried to give her had the opposite effect. One last thing to comment on. Alina Gray is also one of the 3 Magius, meaning she was also the leader and founder, only in the anime they never call her by that title.
