Yes!! This track is absolutely crazy for a debut, and the BAP influence is so cool to see! I love what you said about them not really feeling like rookies since so many members have done so much prior to debut! Lim Jimin, the group’s leader (who sounds a lot like bang yongguk) actually had a brief solo career before the formation of JustB after being eliminated from a survival show! DY and Bain were both contestants on a survival show called under nineteen with DY placing first and Bain just being eliminated in the last episode (Bain is our friend who leans back onto Geonu’ knee in that killing part!) Geonu and Siwoo (who used to go by JM and I just found this out T.T) were both competitors on I-land, yes, the one that formed Enhypen! I remember watching I-land at the time and rooting for Geonu before I knew what the final lineup was going to be, so when he did not end up making it into the group I was so sad since his talent is off the charts! I was so glad to see him get to debut with such a cool project as this, and with a group that totally matches his level when it comes to performance! He is actually the oldest member of the group :) Sangwoo is the only one who didn’t compete on a survival show prior to debut, and in fact I remember that we knew almost nothing about him during the first year or so of their activities! It’s amazing to see him grow with the other members and I definitely see what he was needed in the lineup with their concept! I think JustB will be pretty easy for you to learn since everyone is very distinct and there are very few members relative to some other groups (cough, seventeen, cough) and I found it helpful tho think of them in the 3 taller/lankier members (Lim Jimin, Bain, and Sangwoo) and the 3 shorter/more proportioned members (Geonu, JM/Siwoo, and DY) 😂 Another sidenote is that a number of members know several languages, including Bain who knows like 5 languages and Geonu who I know is fluent in English and knows a few more that I would have to look into! Sorry for info-dumping but they have been so underated for so long and I am so happy to see how excited you get about them!! Their choreo is so interesting in how it takes that 4th gen bar and applies it in really creative ways to a 2nd gen sound! I will say I do not believe Bang Yongguk works with them past their first album, but they maintain a lot of rock influence that I think you’ll have a lot of fun with!

Another circle back post Marathon haha... Siwoo and DY weere HARD to find the difference for a hot second but I did eventually get there! The power of repetition haha. and their rock sound they had in the beginning feels so much more matured yet nostalgic in their recent works (Daddy's Girl HELLO!!!) Loved reading your comments and getting to experience them first hand in this way!
