It's been a while since I have released some new addon files for Silver tier to use in Virt-A-Mate. This is a huge pack of various textures you can add on to your guys and gals for more customization. This pack is a whopping 2,948 files and is 6.85 GB in total. Each category has been separated into it's own zip file for convenience.

VAM Addon is located in the Addon Collection, click here to access.

HOW TO USE:

Make sure that you unzip these textures and drop the folders into the Custom/Atom/Person/Textures/ folder of your VAM install. For example, if you were to unzip and extract the Eyes.zip file, the location that all the eye textures would be in would be the Custom/Atom/Person/Textures/Eyes/ directory.

Most of these textures are body & face textures. In order to apply textures and decals, you need to be in your Person UI and click on Skin Textures.

Here you can set the Decals, which are textures that overlay on top of the skin. It is separated into Face, Torso, Limbs, and Genitals. So make sure to select the appropriate texture for the area on the body that it covers.

After clicking on the Select button, you should be opened directly to the Textures directory. You will see all your folders. Find what you would like to add and simply click on it. If you would like to add multiple textures to a certain body part, you will have to use a plugin named Decal Maker.

This goes as well for any Normals, Specular, or Gloss textures in the pack. Though you will need to use the appropriate section in the Skin Textures menu for these and not the Decals or Diffuse section.

For adding Eyes or Mouth textures you will need to select the appropriate menu for the body part, open up the Texture menu for it by clicking on the Texture button, and click Select to choose the file to use.

_MainTex will be your Main Texture that holds all the color and details. _SpecTex is for specular, _GlossTex for Gloss, _BumbMap for Normals. You do not need to worry about _DecalTex. For all Mouth, Tongue, and Teeth Materials, you can use the same texture files as that file includes each of these parts. Same goes for Lacrimals, Sclera, and Iris. So for example, if you loaded Eyes03.png into the _MainTex section under Iris Materials, you would also load Eyes03.png into the _MainTex for Sclera and Lacrimentals as well.

How do you add these sorry though clothes on vam?

Quick question, when you say to extract them to the /Textures folder, do I drop in the whole upper level folder? For example, the Eyes.zip contains an upper level Eyes folder" which then contains some folders and files. Do I drop the unzipped, upper level Eyes folder into /Textures or do I I take the contents of Eyes and put them into /Textures? I use 7zip btw. Thanks!

The folder structure inside the Texture folder does not matter as far as VAM being able to find the contents. It would be best to drop the upper level folder in as when you open the browser in game, you will see the contents of the Texture folder as it appears in explorer. Having folders within the Texture folder with category names like Eyes would make it much easier to find what you want.
