Hello to all my dear subscribers, fans, and followers. We need to talk,

Apparently on November 15, Pixiv issued a statement that certain content would now be prohibited, or at least, its monetization through FanBox among other platforms (BOOTH I do not use it) So first of all, we will have to wait a month to see what the exact rules and how it will affect my 3D art. Since I have read too many conjectures, deductions, and many other things through various artists on Twitter, since those who do 3D or 2D will not be affected or even in the worst case, our account will be completely banned.

So right now I'm looking for possible solutions, and I'm considering several. We'll start with the least drastic.

-The first would be to upload all my content to a directory like "Gofile" and in several subfolders, and to the people who support me or subscribe through other methods (paypal donation, patreon subscription, or even simply continue with the sub in fanbox ) Send through some external link to the page, said directory with all the work and content uploaded there. That in case fanbox won't let me monetize anymore.

-Another method would be to simply delete all SS content but upload everything to pixiv in the open, trusting that people will continue to subscribe (and for this reason, to continue advancing more elaborate SS animations and renders) But this would depend on the community that stay faithful, even if you don't have to pay for it.

-Another way would be to end all Shota genres and dedicate myself to making vanilla genres, using famous characters and using my characters as lesbian material or solo masturbations. (I refuse to have Monique or Naitlyn used by strong, stocky men. NO!)

-And the most drastic would be to simply end everything and end this cycle of my life as an SS or NSFW artist, and do my other chores that I did before focusing more strictly on animation.

I'm sure there are many more options, but until I see where this regulation will really affect me, if it comes to pass, because the truth is that all the Pixiv artists are VERY angry, and that perhaps seeing that they can a bulk of the monetization, back off.

Because let's be honest, at pixiv you don't come to see artistic images or pretty graphic designs. That's what DeviantArt is for. People come to Pixiv to see the most perverse fantasies of the human mind. Shotacon, Lolicon, bestiality, guro, non-consensual sex, and many more things that we can't even imagine.

Well guys, what do you think about it? I am open to suggestions!

Yours sincerely, Ninfa~

Hi, I heard about it before and was waiting to see how you would react to the news. Personally, I like the way Fanbox payments go through because I had problems with my credit card getting accepted in other plataforms like Subscribestar. I've seen other artists pass throughout the "censorship" system like Patreon by just posting updates (just text or softcore images) and then using an external link for us, supporters, collect the goods. I don't know how Pixiv Fanbox will react to this methods. But that's all I can suggest about it. The reaction in Japan about Pixiv decision, forced by western companies, is pretty heated, at least on Twitter. So I expect them to go back or be more reasenable with the guidelines.

Hi Ninfa, just it sucks to be censored or banned for content you pay for, it's frankly disgusting after I don't know a solution, like you said gofile or patreon but I don't know sorry anyway know that I I'll follow you hang on.

I support Shotastic, they use a code for members to access their work on Mega you could try this method make files on Mega then depending on the price you give access to part of the work.

An artist passes by GUMROAD. With each post he sends a code and a link to gumroad. In the price box we put zero, we download the zip file which can only be opened with the code sent by email. Another artist goes through this site. It gives a code that allows you to download everything without paying. In addition she sends an email with the drive and mega links always by email.

=( lame news. Fuck all this censorship shit, Im pulling away from other creators that simply laid down their arms to this new change. Figuring out a work around to continue your amazing work is the only way. This must suck for your moral cause you MIGHT end up loosing alot of ppl if you cater to those new rules like a puppet.

Have you thought about using Gumroad?

Honestly the more I’m reading about the situation it seems like most artists will have to begin censorship of their previews and how they upload and share files. Sounds like more tedious work for the artist but it doesn’t look like they’re getting rid of all the content that’s on pixiv already. The way they word it makes it sound very vague but this only seems to be an issue with fan box so far and not pixiv network in Japan directly. Who knows I’m still keeping my optimism high because I love this community and would hate to see it die because of this.

Thanks for all the comments. At the moment I will continue uploading content to fanbox until December 15. :D

Hard to stay optimistic at this point especially with the inclusion of AI-generated art recently. Art platforms are seriously going downhill if they adhere to these malicious corporate changes. If they want to lose money and eat their poison, then I'd say let them. Let's just keep our heads up and hope for the best. They'll give further information later this month so let's not lose hope yet. Best of wish to all the artists and content creators here in Pixiv.

Can you please tell me more about this platform? I'm thinking of releasing my Mrs Celine comic there now that Pixiv has resorted to this...
