Load up some sample scenes for fun, or mod what's missing! 😆

1. load a sample scene

First, let's load the sample scene 05_Crucifixion_Plus.

Open [My Library -> tsumayoji -> FreeHeroine -> Sample Scenes]

and double-click [05_Crucifixion_Plus].

It can also be opened from [File -> Open] in the upper left menu.

Wait a moment and the sample scene will load✨.

Move the camera around and enjoy.

2. try iray preview

The appearance of the rendered image is slightly different from that of the preview.

It is not easy to render every time to check the lighting, shadows, etc., so learn how to use irya preview.

※You need to have a good PC specs for smooth iray preview.

※DAZStudio sometimes crashes when you do iray preview, so save your scene in advance if you have made any changes.

Select [NVIDIA Iray].

You can move the camera to see a preview of the rendered image 💖.

It is better to just view the camera at different angles, as changing the pose even slightly will cause the PC to run slow 🥺.

3. install cameras

Sometimes, when you are moving the camera around, you may unexpectedly find your favorite camera position 🥰.

When that happens, set up the camera and save your favorite camera position.

Press the [Create a new camera] button, select [Apply Active Viewport Transforms : ] and press [Accept].

This will create a camera. (In this case, [Camera 4] is created.)

You can switch cameras from the upper right corner to view from your favorite camera position at any time.

When you create a scene you love, you can't stop creating cameras🤣.

4. try to change poses, etc.

Let's modify the sample scene.

Let's make the heroine unconscious due to running out of energy💞.

Select [Ultra Wendy] and then

Double-click [Poses -> Face -> 8_After2] to change the expression, then click

Double-click [Materials -> Eyes_Dark -> Eyes_Dark_On] to make the eyes lose their glow.

Double-click [ColorTimer -> Black] to turn the color timer black, then click

Have her head slightly lower.

Select [Head] under [Ultra Wendy].

Select [Head -> Pose Controls -> Neck] and move the dials for [Neck-Head Bend] and [Neck-Head Twist]✨.

You should see the [Ultra Wendy] head move.

Adjust it so that it is nodding without force 💖.

This time I adjusted [Neck-Head Bend] to 23.1% and [Neck-Head Twist] to -23.1%😊.

※You can undo this by pressing [Ctrl + Z].

Let her nipples stand up too, as she means after being played with 🧐.

Double-click [Shaping -> Nipple 2] 💖.

Let's also relax the hand with the clenched fist, which is not visible.

Double-click [1_Relax_L] and [1_Relax_R] in [Poses -> Hand] to apply them.

Done 😆.

Hey, it's easy, isn't it!

Click on the part you want to move and change the pose by changing the parameters from the [Parameters] tab on the right or the [Posing] tab.

I changed my hand a bit to a more natural angle 😉.

5. try to change HDRI

HDRI is like the surrounding light (ambient light).

The current image is a sunset, but it can be changed in various ways.

As mentioned in Step 1, you can change it by double-clicking on a preset in the [ My Library -> tsumayoji -> FreeHeroine -> HDRI ] folder.

You can also change the position of the sun by 360° by changing the "Dome Rotation" under "Environment" in the "Render Settings" tab. You may want to try to find a position of the sun that looks good 😉.

6. save the scene as an alias

When you have created a good scene with modifications, save it.

By saving it as an alias as a Scene, you can load it at any time to create a rendered image.

I didn't do it this time, but it is recommended to save the scene as an alias at the beginning of the work to avoid overwriting the scene by mistake.

It happens often, "I accidentally overwrote a previously created scene 😭"...

...It happens often...

Also, make sure to back up your scene data, etc. 🥺.

That's all for Step 2.

In Step 3, create a heroine of your own liking. And try to replace her with the heroine from the sample scene!
