Been a while since i mentioned this project. Originally back in February i mentioned using animation software cascadour to quickly create animations which i would bring to blender and make short films. Well i ended up in Unreal Engine 5 and have been slowly building up knowledge on using it to position, animate and render, and finally have something to share.
A small piece of test footage to show whats possible with Unreal Engine and boy eating monsters. With the characters and environment all set up it should be a simple task of animating and sequencing scenes, which is easier with live motioncapture features in Unreal Engine 5.
The hunter model in this example was a quick default creation in Unreal which i tried to make look stoneage, while also adding extra apendeges. The loin cloth uses Unreals cloth simulation.
I will continue to practice with this project with hopes of then making a series of films based on my Space Cadets series.
