Important Notice about moving to Fantia (Pixiv Fanbox)

About moving to Fantia

Since the enforcement of the new agreement, there seems to have been a series of account freezes on FANBOX by creators who mainly produce creative works using 3D.

In such a situation, on December 27, almost all products on Negisho BOOTH (NEGISHOP) were subject to be closed as a violation of the terms of use.

At this point, I have not received any notice of account freeze for Negisho Fanbox, but it would not make sense that Fanbox is safe while BOOTH's contents are in violation of the terms and conditions, so perhaps I'm just lucky that this site is still in existence.

In addition, Negisho FANBOX is still suffering from the ongoing leakage of articles to overseas illegal reprint sites. Although more than 12,000 accounts other than Negisho have been affected, FANBOX management has not shown any policy to deal with the problem even after the report. Meanwhile, Fantia has posted an article on its top page regarding measures against illegal reprinting and has stated that it will introduce mandatory two-step verification by the end of January.

In light of the above, Negisho FANBOX has decided to move to Fantia on the following schedule.

Since its establishment in April 2020, we have received an unexpectedly large number of supporters. As of this writing, I have a total of 2931 supporters and followers. I would like to express our deepest gratitude to all of you for your interest in Negisho FANBOX, which deals with very niche tastes, for your warm comments, and for your generous support for the continuation of my creative activities.

Status of article relocation

At this time, almost all contents already posted on FANBOX have been moved to Fantia.

Although Fantia is already in operation, please note the following

▶In principle, the content of FANBOX and Fantia is identical, but Fantia may have more genitalia concealment treatment (mosaic/black lines) in some illustrations.

Fantia has a policy that all uploaded illustrations are visually checked by the management. When I moved the articles, I was pointed out the lack of concealment process for many of the illustrations. I can honestly say that the genital cover-up process is one of the most tedious tasks that awaits me at the end of the creative process, but I feel that Fantia is easier for me to understand and trust because they clearly point out where the illustrations are lacking.

I do not intend to change the degree to which illustrations in "Negisho Lab." are covered up in the past or in the future.

Specific Transition Schedule

◆Until the end of January 2023

FANBOX and Fantia will operate in parallel. Articles will be published on both at approximately the same time.

◆February 2023 and thereafter

Submissions to FANBOX will be terminated and content will henceforth be consolidated into Fantia.

I apologize for the sudden decision, but I have decided that it is too much work for me to keep uploading articles to each of "Negisho Lab.", "FANBOX", and "Fantia", and that it may cause confusion for everyone if I keep running them in parallel.

(Revised 01/21/2023) After February 1, only continuing FANBOX supporters will receive a free ticket code for the current month of FANTIA on or about the 7th of each month. Please note that ticket codes will be distributed via the FANBOX message function, not through articles.

Q＆A

1) Will Negisho FANBOX close at the end of January?

→No. I will not close FANBOX. I will not close this place unless Negisho FANBOX is suspended by the management or the number of supporters drops to zero.

After February, I hope that FANBOX will only be used in the following cases.

▶You are already a Negisho Lab. Special Member and do not need to view the contents on the support site, and you are supporting us only to continue your membership.

▶You are unable to register with Fantia for some reason, and you wish to continue your support without content in order to fulfill the conditions for promotion to Negisho Lab. special member.

2) I am still supporting the FANBOX in order to apply for a special membership in the future, but if I move to Fantia, will the amount of support I have given so far be reset?

→No. The amount of support you have given to FANBOX so far can be added directly to the amount of support after the transition to Fantia. In this case, we will ask you to enter both your Fanbox and Fantia usernames on the application form when you apply for special membership. I am currently preparing a new application form.

3) If I shift my support to Fantia, can I discontinue supporting and following Negisho FANBOX?

→If you have shifted your support to Fantia since February, you may, of course, discontinue your FANBOX support. However, I would appreciate it if you could continue to follow FANBOX (free of charge) if you don't mind. If you stop following me, especially if you are considering applying for a special membership in the future, I may not be able to check your past support status (I try to keep track of it frequently to prevent this from happening, but there is a possibility that it may be omitted from my records depending on the timing).

4) I am already a Negisho Lab. special member, but if I change my support to Fantia for continued membership, do I need to declare it to you?

→Yes. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I need to link your Negisho Lab membership name to your Fantia membership name, so you will need to notify me if you change the recipient of your support. To make it easier for you, I will soon be adding a new form on the Negisho Lab top page. Please refer to 5) below.

5) I am already a Negisho Lab special member. Is there any advantage for me to change my support for continuing my membership from FANBOX to Fantia?

→I sometimes post special contents on Fantia, such as rejected illustrations, doodles, and screenshots of my work before it is made into a finished product, which I do not post on Negisho Lab. If you do not intend to see them, or if you do not want to go through the trouble of transferring them, you are free to continue your support of FANBOX. In that case, there is no need to notify me.
